Pulled Pork sandwhich recipe!

For Christmas my sweet mother-in-law and father-in-law gave my husband and I a Slow Cooker. I've been wanting one for a while since were either at work or school and by the time we get home, its at least an hour until we eat. I quickly got on Pinterest and looked through the book we also got of slow cooker recipes, and found the recipe I wanted to start my slow cooking adventure with! I decided to make Pulled Pork Sandwiches! Below is the recipe I used to make this delicious easy dish.

  • 2 lbs of Pork lion (boneless)
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 3/4 of a bottle of Bbq sauce (16 oz)
  • 1 tsp Black peper
  • 1 tbsp of Paprika
  • 1/2  tsp of Salt
  • 1/2 cup of Water

Prep time: 5-8 min
Cook time: 8 hours

1. Add all ingredients(besides besides Bbq sauce) in the Slow cooker, making sure that all the season gets in between your pork lion creases
2. Cook on medium for 6-7 hours on medium or 8 hours on low ...which is what we decided to do
3. Last step.. yes that how simple this recipe is... Add your Bbq sauce and shred all the meat and your DONE!

Eat and Enjoy!!

It's a Riches giveaway with Pink Blush!

Since I can remember I have always had an interest for the world of style! If you had to ask me what item I have mostly in my closest the answer would be dresses! Did I mention I once had over 25+ dresses in my closet, haha. Since being pregnant I've found it hard to shop cute pieces, especially feel fully comfortable as I can be! Well a few months ago, okay since I found out I was pregnant I found this adorable and stylish clothing line called Pink Blush Maternity! Now if your pregnant I highly suggest going and checking their site out, but have no fear they also have a non maternity line with seriously cute items .. That shop is called "Pink Blush". I found this beautiful dress (pics below) that I absolutely love, and even though I'm wearing this dress in the snow, it was well worth it! It's flowy, comfortable , stylish,  and you can basically dress it up anyway you want to! I decided to complete my look with the Pink Blush Charcoal Solid Short sleeve maternity dress, a jean jacket, a pair of short boots and a few bangle bracelets and can I just say I loved how it made me feel as a mother to be , I instantly got super happy seeing how more noticeable my little baby bump was and is!  Now here's the part I'm excited to share!! Because I love this shop so much and want you all to know about it, I have teamed up with a Pink Blush/Maternity to give one Lucky winner a $75 Gift card! All you have to do is

Love for Plaid shirts/ Pink Desert

Lately its been very cold here in Utah, and I've fallen more and more with the fall and winter season. Now I've always been used to 50 degree winters (in California) but now that I live in Utah I've had to add a few more items that I can layer which is never a bad thing! It seems that I've been adding more boots to the closet, more scarfs, and of course  more coats. I love that even in the chilly seasons you still dress up and style an outfit ! I have recently collaborated with thee amazing Pink Desert, a stylish clothing company in Las Vegas. I have shopped with them for a while now and love that I can find what I'm looking for and purchase the cutest clothes! Now here's the sweet part! Enter the code "riches15" to get 15 % off any purchase you make! If your looking for affordable jeans, shirts, dresses, even swim suits and MORE this is your place to shop! Special Announcement!!

It's been a while since I've posted and I apologize. Life has crazy busy! As you can see by the title of this post my husband and I found out I was pregnant in October! We are both extremely excited and couldn't/can't believe we were parents to be. Fast forwarding to now, I am currently 20 weeks and in my second trimester. I must say the first trimester was not my favorite. Right when I found out I was pregnant I was told by many friends and family about morning sickness and how to help reduce it. I thought to myself "oh it cant be that bad...." haha gosh was I wrong! I found myself puking everyday at anytime. I felt extremely ill and nauseous ... I started to miss food..and I started to hate the food I once loved. The first trimester was mostly me sick in bed or my sweet husband holding my hair and rubing my back as I puked. I hope Im not being too graphic... but hey that's how morning sickness can be. Thank goodness for prego pops and Canada Dry that got me through the day (or some of the day). Now that I am 20 weeks and into my second trimester the sickness has gone down immensely!! YES!! I can now enjoy food! Okay now unto the announcement. We loved telling our families and seeing the excitement in their faces. I honestly have to take a few moments and realize that yes I am growing a baby inside of me, and yes I am going to be a mother. My husband and I get more and more excited with each month that passes us by. We have registered, I have pinned (Pinterest) like no other for nursery ideas, baby outfits, etc. We have thought of names, read parenting articles/books, and such. We are extremely excited to meet our bundle of joy in June and cannot wait to be parents!! I will blog more of pregnancy in the future!! Below are images we took to announce our baby which were part of our Christmas photos!
